Playback on a TV Screen
Connect the camcorder to a TV to enjoy your recordings with family and friends. Playback on an HDTV using one of the high-definition connections will ensure the best playback quality. Operating modes: 1 Turn off the camcorder and the TV. Refer to Connection Diagrams (0 116) and select the most appropriate connection for your TV. On the TV, select as the video input the same terminal to which you connected the camcorder. Refer to the instruction manual of the connected TV. 4 Turn on the camcorder and set it to Play back the movies or photos. NOTES · To correctly play back movies recorded with x. v. Colour (0 150) on an HDTV compatible with this standard, additional settings may be required on the connected HDTV. Refer to the TV's instruction manual. · We recommend powering the camcorder using the compact power adapter. · Connection C or c: When you play back your 16:9 movies on standard TV sets with a 4:3 aspect ratio, the TV set will switch automatically to widescreen mode if it is compatible with the WSS system. b Copying Recordings to a Memory Card
You can copy your recordings only one-way: from the built-in memory to the memory card. Scenes and photos will be copied from the index screen you selected to the corresponding index screen on the memory card. Please read the IMPORTANT section (0 122) before using an Eye-Fi card.
Copying Scenes
Operating modes: 1 Open the index screen that contains the scenes you want to copy. · Check that you have selected the f tab (built-in memory). · [Original] or [Video Snapshot] [Original] index screen: To copy all the scenes recorded on a specific date, narrow down the scenes shown to scenes recorded on that date (0 51). 2 Touch [a] to open the scene selection screen.
