Cleaning the Video Heads
Introduction
Digital video camcorders record video signals on the tape in very thin lines (as thin as 1/8 of the width of a hair). The following symptoms may appear if the video heads become dirty even a little. · Mosaic or other blocky video artifacts (Fig. [. . . ] [ NEUTRAL] Tones down the contrast and color saturation. Depending on the number of images on the memory card (Windows: more than 1, 800 images; Macintosh: more than 1, 000 images), you may not be able to download images to a computer. Connection to a PictBridge compatible printer will not work when the memory card contains more than 1, 800 images. For best performance, we recommend to keep the number of images on the memory card under 100.

Selecting the Size of Movie Clips on the Memory Card
Movies are recorded on the memory card using the Motion-JPEG compression. The sound for these movie clips is monaural. ( 8)
Capturing a Still Image while Recording Movies
While you are recording a movie on the tape you can simultaneously capture the same picture as a still image on the memory card without interrupting your recording to change modes. The size of the still image will be S 640x480 and cannot be changed but the quality of the still image can be selected. POINTS TO CHECK ( 8)
