Using the Wide-converter
Screw the Wide-converter lens fully into the lens filter thread. ¡ If the camcorder lens has a lens hood, remove it before attaching the Wide-converter. You cannot use the lens hood with the Wide-converter. ¡ If dust or other matter should accumulate on the Wide-converter or the camcorder lens, the camcorder may focus on it instead of on your subject. Clean both lenses gently with a blower brush. ¡ Depending on the camcorder model, attaching the Wide-converter may obstruct the tally lamp or the remote sensor (the range of the wireless controller may narrow), or may cause a shadow to appear when recording with flash, video light or fill light (white LED).
