[. . . ] To achieve optimum sound results, please read these directions carefully and observe the following safety instructions when installing the subwoofer: Disconnect the minus terminal of the battery!Observe the car manufacturer's safety instructions when doing so. Do not damage any vehicle parts when drilling the holes. [. . . ] With the CS 200 A, the upper limiting frequency is infinitely variable between 60Hz and 120 Hz. The value to be set depends primarily on the bass capability of the other speakers in your system. As a rule, the middle setting is optimum. If you are using large speakers with an inherent bass capability in your vehicle, 60Hz can be suitable. Accordingly, higher values up to 120Hz should be selected if you are using smaller speakers. One turn to the right means one volume increase and one turn to the left a volume decrease. In this way, you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer to that of the other speakers in the vehicle. Please bear in mind that overshooting of the active subwoofer through too intense amplification of the music signal can destroy the speaker system. The power LED lights up green when the subwoofer is in operation. Your CS 200 A is fitted with overload protection. The limiter LED lights up red when the overload protection is active. If your car radio is fitted with a preamplifier output or special subwoofer output, this should be used to connect the CS 200 A. You should use shielded cables only here to avoid disturbances through the car electronics. If your car radio does not have a preamplifier output, you can also connect your Canton subwoofer to the speaker outputs. the plug required for this purpose is included in the package.
