The function buttons on your iPod® remain active while it is in the DSS 303 and its battery will be recharged regardless of whether the devices are switched on or off. This will not overload the rechargeable battery. The volume control on the iPod® will not affect the music playback of the DSS 303 but only the volume of the iPod®'s headphone output. * These adaptors are included with the corresponding iPods. Alternatively the antenna socket may also be connected to a roof aerial or a broadband cable connection. The search sequence is activated by sustained pressing (longer than 1 second) of the , , TUNING" button. the DSS 303 has 20 , , PRESETS" (programmable stations). In order to programme a station you must first set the desired radio frequency. Use the , , MEMO" button to start this process, the display for the preset will start to flash. Use the , , PRESET UP" and , , PRESET DOWN" buttons to select the desired preset area and then confirm by pressing , , ENTER". The , , PRESET" buttons are used for playing back the stored radio frequencies. [. . . ] The lighting may possibly be interfering with the remote control. Please make sure that there are no obstacles blocking the infrared signal from the remote control to the DSS 303. Clean the small lens on the front of the remote control.
