Use a 3/16" or 1/4" drill bit. If you have to drill through more than 2" of wood, you should use a special 12" long drill bit, which is available at most hardware stores. PICKUP WIRING The shield wire always goes to ground. For standard humbucking operation, solder the Red and White wire together. Solder the Green wire and shield to ground. See fig. 1.
