The keyboard interprets any input of three or more keys that matches a FULL RANGE CHORD pattern to be a chord. Any multi-key input that is not a FULL RANGE CHORD pattern is interpreted as melody play. Because of this, there is no need for a separate accompaniment keyboard, and the entire keyboard from end-to-end can be used for both melody and chords. FULL RANGE CHORD Accompaniment Keyboard and Melody Keyboard + Adjusting Accompaniment Volume Perform the following operation to change the volume level of the rhythm and chord accompaniment (setting range : 000 to 127). 1 While holding down the CONTROL button, use the keyboard keys shown below to raise (+) or lower (­) the accompaniment volume. ­ Accompaniment keyboard/Melody keyboard Chords Recognized by This Piano The following table identifies patterns that are recognized as chords by FULL RANGE CHORD.
