The basic format for all operation type messages is described in "17. 2 Message Structure", below. 31 17. 2 Message Structures This Model's System Exclusive Messages is formed of the 13 fields shown below. Whether or not a particular field is included in a message and the length of each field depends on the message. The minimum unit for the length of each field is bytes.
