[. . . ] NOTE: After installation, the green indicator light behind the push bar cover will indicate proper connection. · Remove the push bar cover by gently prying off the top edge with a coin or screwdriver. · For standard wall mount, mark the wall about 3/4" up the centerline from the bottom of the door control. Install a 6ABx1-1/4" self-tapping screw at this point, allowing about 1/8" to protrude from the STANDARD WALL MOUNT wall. LOCK LIGH T · For pre-wired installations, partially install a 6-32x1" machine screw into the bottom of the gang box, allowing about 1/8" to protrude. Slip the lower part of the door control over the screw head and adjust for snug fit. Install top screw with care to avoid cracking plastic housing. · Connect the bell wire to the opener terminal screws as follows: white to 2 and white/red to 1. · After testing, replace the cover by inserting top tabs and snapping into place. NOTE: The automatic light feature will become functional 6-1/2 minutes after power is restored. Press again to reverse the door during the closing cycle, or to stop the door while it is opening. Light Feature: Press the Light button to switch the opener light on or off. When the door is opened or closed, the light will remain on for 4-1/2 minutes. Press the Light button to turn it off sooner. The Light button will not control the opener light when the door is in motion. When using the opener lights as working lights, we recommend that you first disable the motion sensor. When used with openers manufactured after December 1, 1999, (check the date on the opener panel) the 4-1/2 minute interval can be changed to 1-1/2, 2-1/2, or 3-1/2 minutes as follows: Press and hold the Lock button until the light blinks (about 10 seconds). A single blink indicates that the timer is reset to 1-1/2 minutes. Repeat the procedure and the light will blink twice, resetting the timer to 2-1/2 minutes. Repeat again for a 3-1/2 minute interval, etc. , up to a maximum of four blinks and 4-1/2 minutes. Automatic Light Feature: The opener light will turn on automatically when a person enters the garage. When a person walks in front of the door control, the opener light will come on for five minutes, then shut off. This feature works by detecting body heat.
