Maintain labels and namelates on the tool. These carry imortant safety information. If unreadable or missing, contact Harbor Freight Tools for a relacement. Preare to begin work before turning on the tool Do not leave the tool unattended when it is plugged into a pneumatic outlet, unlug it before leaving. The drain ort is generally the lower of the two R-134a or R1222 manifold orts and will be located downstream from the comressor in the vehicle. Refer to the vehicle's owners manual for vehiclesecific information. Turn on the Air Vacuum Pum by activating the air comressor (not included). The vacuum will build for aroximately 2 minutes, before reaching full ower. Allow the pump to draw vacuum on the system for approximately 10 minutes to thoroughly remove all moisture and any gas from the system. The gauge (not included) should show negative pressure and maintain that reading for 10 minutes. If it rises back towards 0, there may be a leak in the system. Turn off the air suly before disconnecting the hose from the vacuum fitting.
