Transparent dust collection container The traditional dust bag system has been replaced by a transparent dust collection container in which coarse dirt particles and tiny particles floating in the air are swirled out of the suction air by the high speed of the air current. the purchase of dust bags is no longer necessary. The filling level indicator shows you when the dust container needs emptying. Open the lid of the filter housing and pull the dust container together with the central filter out of the device (see illustrations 1 and 2). Empty the chamber of the filter and then clean the filter. Important: Always empty the dust container first before you remove the central filter. Every third time that the device is emptied, or in the case of major soiling, please also clean the filters located in the flap (A 5) of the dust container. This flap (see illustration 5) consists of two halves which can be separated. Open these two halves and clean the filters by allowing running water to pass through the filter fleece in the direction contrary to which the air blows through the device. These filters should only be replaced when they are completely dry. Remove the protective grating together with the filter by pulling them upwards. Clean the filter approximately every 10th time the dust container is emptied. If necessary the filter can be cleaned in warm water without any additives. This should only be replaced when it is completely dry!This filter is to be found on the rear section of your device behind a protective grating. Take out the filter and replace it with a new one. In order to guarantee the smooth functioning of the filter we recommend that it be replaced every six months.
