Special Safety Measures for this Device Remember that the hot surfaces remain hot a long time after operation. place the machine on a heat-resistant base. Only touch the machine by using the handles and buttons provided. Before using for the first time leave the hot plates switched on for 5 minutes in order to remove the protective layer. This may lead to the development of small quantities of smoke. Before inserting the mains plug into the socket check whether the voltage which you intend to use corresponds to that of the machine. Only connect the machine to a correctly installed safety socket, 230 V/50 Hz. Only use saucepans with a flat bottom in order to make optimum use of the energy (see diagram 1). â· The saucepan should never be smaller than the hot plate. The switch of the hot plates makes it possible to finely adjust the heating level to the cooking process (see diagram 2).
