[. . . ] Under no circumstances must the device be placed in water or other liquid, or come into contact with such. Do not use the device with wet or moist hands. â· Should the device become moist or wet, remove the mains plug from the socket immediately. â· Use the device only for the intended purpose. Special Safety Instructions for this Machine Use only cold water when filling. When filling the boiler with water please adhere to the marks on the measuring beaker. Care should be taken when handling the measuring beaker as there is a sharp spike on the bottom. Do not allow decalcification agents to come into contact with the hot plate. Fill water into the boiling trough for the number of eggs to be boiled according to the markings on the measuring beaker. Prick each egg on the bottom in order to prevent the eggs from bursting. To do so, turn the measuring beaker around and place it on a level non-slip base. Distribute the eggs evenly and opposite one another in the egg holder. The eggs are ready when the buzzer sounds. Remove the egg holder and quench the eggs briefly under cold water.
