Make sure that the appliance is switched off (The light (9) in the I/O switch is off). You can read off the level to which it is filled using the water level indicator. Close the lid until it is heard to lock into place and is fixed firmly in position. Turn the device on with the I/O switch (9). Once the temperature has been reached the control lamp (10) goes off. The device switches on automatically as soon as the temperature of the water falls; the control lamp (10) goes on again. In order to remove the lid, please pull the lid by the button that is located on it and not by the edge of the lid. For the preparation of tea your tea kettle has a glass pot with a permanent filter and a keep-warm function. Pull the ascending pipe (5) upwards so that you can fill the desired quantity of loose tea into the tea strainer (4).
