As the power of your car battery is limited (12 volts) this is unavoidable and does not mean that the product is not working correctly. Please read these operating instructions carefully and keep them in a safe place. Before using for the first time, boil fresh water at least twice in the appliance. Use only water without any additives or ingredients. Note: The device can also be secured firmly in place with the help of the wall holder. Please ensure safe and correct installation. You can read off the water level in the water level display. Close the lid until you hear it lock in place. Check whether the electrical voltage that you intend to use is the same as that of the machine. Details are to be found on the label on the base. Turn on the device with the switch (O/I). The internal light in the kettle and the control lamp in the on/off switch light up. Important note on operating the kettle: The kettle does not switch itself off after the water has boiled. However, thanks to the internal light you can observe the boiling process at all times. Once the boiling temperature has been reached the heating element automatically reduces the power consumption. The device must only be used in the car with the engine running in order to save the battery. If you would like to stop using the kettle, first turn the on/off switch to O (off) and then remove the plug from the socket. Always remove the plug from the mains supply before cleaning the machine!
