Temporary tone dialling (for rotary/pulse service users)
You can temporarily switch the dialling mode to tone when you need to access touch-tone services (for example, answering services, telephone banking services, etc. ). Press * before entering access numbers which require tone dialling.
Mute
While mute is turned on, you can hear the other party, but the other party cannot hear you.
Call share
Available for: KX-TG2712 You can join an existing outside call. To join the conversation, press M N when the other handset is on an outside call. Note: R To prevent other users from joining your conversations with outside callers, turn the privacy mode on (page 19).

Recall/flash
MR/ECON allows you to use the special features of your host PBX such as transferring an extension call, or accessing optional telephone services. Note: R To change the recall/flash time, see page 19.

The phonebook allows you to make calls without having to dial manually. You can add 50 names and phone numbers.

You may either hear a dial tone or no one on the line when you answer the call. *4 The preset melodies in this product are used with permission of © 2011 Copyrights Vision Inc. *5 The default display language will be as follows if you select the following regional codes when changing the unit’s region setting (page 12): “Other” = “English” “Česká republika” = “Čeština” “Slovensko” = “Slovenčina” *6 Turn this feature off if you prefer not to hear key tones while you are dialling or pressing any keys, including confirmation tones and error tones. *7 If you subscribe to a Caller ID service and want to view the caller’s information after lifting up the handset to answer a call, turn off this feature. *8 If you do not want the unit to ring before the caller information is received, set to “Off”. (Caller ID subscribers only) You can only remove the first ring if the unit rings two times or more by default, which depends on your service provider/telephone company. *9 The recall/flash time depends on your telephone exchange or host PBX. *10 The default setting will be as follows if you select the following regional codes when changing the unit’s region setting (page 20): “Česká republika” = “100 msec. ” “Slovensko” = “100 msec. ” *11 To prevent other users from joining your conversations with outside callers, turn this feature on.
