[. . . ] The seat basically comprises three parts: the backrest with three-position adjustable shoulder straps, the booster seat, and the sit/recline adjustment section. Securing the seat in the car using a three-point safety belt Fig. 1 Position the TRIMAX on the seat of the car. Pull the car safety belt right out and thread its clip through the slot in the backrest. [. . . ] 1, 5 years of age • Middle shoulder strap slots for children up to approx. 2, 5 years of age • Top shoulder strap slots for children up to approx. 11 The pads are removed by pulling them over the belts and then disconnecting them from the yoke at the rear of the seat. To re-position the seat belt they have to be taken out through the back rest. If you adjust the height of the seat belts you also have to adjust the height position of the pads to the same height. For conversion purposes, the belt pads in the backrest are pulled out backwards. For installation the pads are pulled through the back rest from the back afterwards the harness system has to be thread through the belt pads and the back rest and be reattached to the yoke at the back of the seat. Please make sure that the seat belts are the same height position and not twisted. GB Fig. 15, 16 TRIMAX belt and buckle padding The car seat TRIMAX is supplied with a harness system fixed on the back rest. 10 When the child is secured with the 5-point central harness the belt and buckle pads have to be correctly adjusted to the child. 5, 6 Recline position The TRIMAX can be placed in a sitting or in a reclining position, the reclined position is reached by pushing the release bar downwards and pulling the seat in a forward direction until it is firmly fixed. To return to the upright position, push the adjusting handle and slide the seat backwards. GB Care instructions 30 GB • Do not leave your child in the child seat unsupervised regardless of whether they are strapped in or not. • The instructions for use must be kept with the child seat at all times. • Only use CONCORD accessories, others may invalidate guarantee. • Suitable for vehicles with three-point seat belts or lap belts which are tested to ECE Regulation 16 or an equivalent standard. • The child restraint must not be usedwithout the cover. The seat cover should not be replaced with any other than the one recommended by the manufacturer, because the cover constitutes an integral part of the restraint performance. • As a result of the very long usage of the TRIMAX restraint system it is natural that some parts such as the covers may have to be replaced, Contact your children and baby equipment stockist, the relevant sections of a department store, car accessory shop or mail order companies which will be able to supply the full range of accessories for CONCORD child seats. • See also the instructions in the vehicle manual concerning carrying children. Warranty The warranty period shall commence at the time of purchase. The warranty period shall correspond to the duration of the applicable statutory warranty period for the sale of child seats in the respective end user country. Depending on the wishes of the manufacturer, the warranty shall cover rectification, replacement or a price reduction. [. . . ] • In the event of an accident the whole seat has to be exchanged or to be sent to the CONCORD together with a report of the accident. • Tell your passengers how to release the child in the event of an accident, etc. . GB Should a defect occur, warranty rights shall only apply if the specialist retailer is notified of the defect immediately after its initial occurrence. If the specialist retailer cannot solve the problem, then it must return the product with an exact description of the problem and official proof of purchase.
