Loosen template holder thmb nuts and center template under stylus, keeping router bit on center of workpiece. With letter holder square to table, retighten thumb nuts. CENTER WORKPIECE 17. Adjust router bit to desired depth (Va" approximately). Put stylus tip against edge of template, start router and slowly lower bit into workpiece. Always start at the right side of letter and always finish at that same place. (This insures correct spacing. ) Guide stylus around template opening, holding tie bar with right hand and using left hand on stylus to ensure stylus is always in contact with template.
