Installation
Crestron® FSDI8-W speakers are 8-Ohm,  full-range,  drop-in ceiling speakers that allow for fast and easy installation in a typical classroom or presentation space. Constructed of industrial grade steel,  the speakers are fully enclosed,  including the back can,  with a finely perforated grill over the entire front of the speaker.  [. . . ] Remove the screws securing the cover on the back can,  open the cover and remove the included wire nuts. Following one of the two methods shown in the illustration,  use the wire nuts to connect the speaker wires to the speaker cable wires,  observing the proper polarity (+ to +,  - to -). Using the screws removed earlier,  attach the cover to the back can.

No sound or intermittent sound from speakers.

POSSIBLE CAUSE(S)
Cable connection error. 

CORRECTIVE ACTION
Verify cable connections between amplifier and speakers. Verify amplifer is functioning correctly,  that it is receiving an input signal and that correct input source is selected. Verify all devices in system are functioning properly. Verify speaker connection polarity (i. e. + on speaker to + on amplifier). 

Amplifier not receiving input signal or amplifier malfunction. 

Constant noise Faulty device in system.  [. . . ] Updates are identified as an "Addendum" in the Download column.
