Printed in the United States of America. [. . . ] Remove the two SHCS securing the guide rods. Carefully lean guide rods away from column. Remove guide rod collets and plastic caps. Wipe guide rods clean over entire length. Lubricate with light coating of medium weight automotive engine oil. Install each weight plate one at a time. NOTE: Do not install the second weight and top weight at this time. J. Locate the spring pin 10 mm x 90 mm black (#39). Slide the top weight plate onto second plate and carefully pound the spring pin into the second weight plate hole, securing second plate to the top plate. NOTE: Insert pin so that it is flush with the weight plate. Install top weight. Figure 15 Pin second weight 39 M. Replace plastic caps and guide rod collets on guide rods. Return guide rods to full upright position. Insert both SHCS that were removed in step 6E (securing guide rods). NOTE: Do not secure top weight at this time. Page 4-39 Cybex Modular Owner's Manual 7. Routing Cable (see steps 7A - 7J and Figure 16). Install upper assemblies to any stations within the Modular/Tandem configuration that contain upper assemblies. See the Modular and Tandem installation instructions. Locate weight stack cable (#53), four pulleys (#1), pulley mount (#40), three SHCS . 375-16 x 1. 75 (#29), one SHCS . 375-16 x 2. 00 (#26) and four nylon locknuts . 375-16 (#57) and one spiral pin (#38). At the same time, install pulley to lower pulley bracket and route cable (#53) using one pulley (#1), one SHCS . 375-16 x 1. 75 (#29) and one nylon locknut . 375-16 (#57). Attach one end of the weight stack cable (#53) to the frame as shown in Figure 16 (using one SHCS . 375-16 x 1. 75 (#29) and one nylon locknut . 37516 (#57). NOTE: Do not install hanging pulley in this step.
