[. . . ] The possible time settings for this field are 0 and 5 to 30 minutes. The Time Interval will set the time between Multicast and Broadcast packet counts sent from the Switch's chip to the Traffic Control function. These packet counts are the determining factor in deciding when incoming packets exceed the Threshold value. The Time Interval may be set between 5 and 30 seconds, with a default setting of 5 seconds. Specifies the maximum number of packets per second that will trigger the Traffic Control function to commence. The configurable threshold range is from 512 to 1024000, with a default setting of 512 Kbps. Specifies the desired Storm Control Type: None, Broadcast, Multicast, Unknown Unicast, Broadcast + Multicast, Broadcast + Unknown Unicast, Multicast + Unknown Unicast, and Broadcast + Multicast + Unknown Unicast. In the QoS folder, click 802. 1p Default Priority to view the window shown below. The priority tags are numbered from 0, the lowest priority, to 7, the highest priority. To implement a new default priority, first choose a port range by using the From Port and To Port pull-down menus and then use the Priority drop-down menu to select a value from 0 to 7. Click Apply to implement the settings. 802. 1p User Priority The Switch allows the assignment of a class of service to each of the 802. 1p priorities. In the QoS folder click 802. 1p User Priority, to view the window shown below.
