Procedure
1. Remove contents from carton and examine for damaged or missing parts.
2. Due to the various ceiling constructions, careful consideration should be given to the selection and use of fasteners. For a listing of available fastener kits refer to the chart below. 3. Insert a 1-1/2" NPT threaded pipe (not included) securely into the CM-USC Weldment and tighten. Screw a #10 self-drilling screw into the threaded pipe through the existing hole in the coupling to prevent removal of the pipe.

9. The installer may drill a 2-1/2" diameter hole with a hole saw in the CM-P1824 to allow cables to pass through the plate. Use the included Grommet to keep the cables from touching the rough edges of the hole. Diagonal bracing may be required on some installations.
