A stateof-the-art electronic system, it incorporates the latest in Radio Frequency (RF) immobilizer technology, and seamlessly integrates with the vehicle to protect it from car thieves. Convenient, hidden and easy to use, the Automate® Vehicle Anti-Theft system operates with the push of a button to provide remote control protection around the clock. Standard Transmitter Configuration controls manual arming of your anti-theft system. controls disarming of your anti-theft system. and pressed simultaneously controls Valet® mode. © 2004 directed electronics, inc. 3 Using Your System Arming Your anti-theft system is programmed to arm itself automatically (called passive arming). Your anti-theft system will automatically arm 30-seconds after the ignition is turned off. If you prefer to arm your system with the transmitter, you may press the button on your transmitter after the IGNITION is turned OFF. Your system will arm and prevent your vehicle from starting. Disarming To disarm your anti-theft system, press the mitter. Your vehicle should now start. Note: If more than 30-seconds elapses after pressing the button on your transmitter, your system will automatically arm again.
