Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug. ELECTRIC CONNECTION The ceramic heater must be connected to a properly polarized A/C 110/120 V household outlet in perfect working condition. Keep loose clothing or bedding, furniture and flammable material away from the wall outlet where the heater is plugged in. INSTALLATION Before plugging the heater into an outlet, 1. Turn unit on by selecting Min, Med or Max setting. This switch controls the heat on the heat settings knob. The Max setting will produce the most heat. A red indicator light will come on and this light will stay on as long as the unit is turned on. Set the desired room temperature by turning the thermostat dial between 45°F and 95°F (see conversion chart for Celsius degree). When the desired temperature is reached, the unit will automatically maintain that temperature. It is normal for the heater to cycle on and off as it maintains the preset temperature. You will need to raise the thermostat setting to avoid cycling. ANTIFREEZE FUNCTION This setting will automatically turn the heater on if the room temperature falls below 42°F, to prevent it from freezing, at mimum energy consumption. This function is not guaranteed in the event at black outs even if lasting just a few seconds. To set, turn the thermostat control to , and the fan control to any setting.
