[. . . ] When fitting the replacement bulb, care should be taken not to touch the filament glass envelope or the concave part of the reflector, as finger marks will reduce lamp life. Use genuine Dennard replacement bulbs which have been specially modified for use in I. R. Setting up the Illuminator for correct alignment is easily achieved by loosening the two rear hex. head trunnion fixings and the single cradle mount fixing, adjusting to the desired pointing angle and re-tightening.
