Before playing with the surround function Before playing with the surround function, be sure to use the test tones to adjust the playback level from each speakers. The adjusted playback levels for the different surround modes are automatically stored in the memory of each surround modes. Select the speaker whose level you want to adjust. Test tones are output from the different speakers. The level of the selected speaker can be adjusted within the range of +12 to ­12 dB. Only adjustable when the channel is selected with the CH VOL buttons on the main unit. The Dolby Surround Pro Logic II Cinema or Music mode can be chosen directly by pressing the CINEMA or MUSIC button on the remote control unit during playback in the Dolby Surround Pro Logic II mode.
