[. . . ] Wrap the cord around the upper and lower cord clips. Continue wrapping the hose clockwise around the tool caddies, pressing the hose into the groove on the bottom of the lower tool caddy. Place nut into recess on tool caddy and hold into place (Diagram 2). Press handle release with your other hand to tilt the midsection backwards (Diagram 2a). Slide the Upholstery/Stair Attachment into the middle slot of the lower tool caddy. Lock the attachment end of the hose into place by pressing down onto the post located on the right side of the lower tool caddy, until secure in place. Place screw through center of lower midsection and tighten. Clip the adapter end of the hose into the slot on the lower tool caddy. Run the hose back to the upper caddy and press into hose clip #2 (see diagram 4). [. . . ] Grasp top of dirty water tank handle and push latch to release. To empty dirty water tank, grasp handle with one hand and nozzle with the other and empty into sink. Grasp handle and hook front of dirty water tank into base of cleaner, making sure front of dirty water tank is resting on the base (Diagram 2).
