Be careful not to drop or strike battery. Never begin the cut with the tip of the bar. Take particular care when resuming cuts which have already been started. Never saw through several branches at a time. â· When limbing, take care to prevent the bar from coming into contact with other branches. â· When bucking, keep clear of adjacent trunks. Always stop tool operation and charge the battery cartridge when you notice less tool power. Always be sure that the tool is switched off and the battery cartridge is removed before adjusting or checking function on the tool. Carry the chain saw by the front handle only, with the bar pointing backwards. Keep the chain saw in a secure, dry and locked room out of the reach of children. Always switch off the tool before installing or removal of the battery cartridge. â· To remove the battery cartridge, withdraw it from the tool while sliding the button on the front of the cartridge. â· To insert the battery cartridge, align the tongue on the battery cartridge with the groove in the housing and slip it into place. Always insert it all the way until it locks in place with a little click. If you can see the red part on the upper side of the button, it is not locked completely. Insert it fully until the red part cannot be seen. If not, it may accidentally fall out of the tool, causing injury to you or someone around you. WARNING: MISUSE or failure to follow the safety rules stated in this instruction manual may cause serious personal injury. Do not use force when inserting the battery cartridge. If the cartridge does not slide in easily, it is not being inserted correctly. Saw chain is automatically lubricated when the tool is in operation. [. . . ] Take out the worn carbon brushes, insert the new ones and secure the brush holder caps. Remove any chips and sawdust from the tool after removing the sprocket cover. After cleaning the tool, run it under no load to lubricate the saw chain and guide bar. Remove oil from the oil tank to empty it and place the chain saw with the tank cap facing upward. [. . . ]
