Never carry or transport the trimmer with the cutter running!Never touch the cutter without protective gloves! - Always put the supplied blade guard on the cutter before transporting the trimmer for long distances. The cutter should be pointing backwards. - Store the trimmer with the blade guard on the cutter in a safe place in a dry room. Never store the trimmer outdoors. When carrying the hedge trimmer in a vehicle, make sure it is in a secure position. It should be transported only in the trunk or in a transport area separate from the driver. NOTE Individuals with poor circulation who are exposed to excessive vibration may experience injury to blood vessels or the nervous system. Vibration may cause the following symptoms to occur in the fingers, handsorwrists:"Fallingasleep"(numbness), tingling, pain, stabbing sensation, alteration of skin colour or of the skin. Be especially careful when handling gasoline (petrol). Do not smoke (explosion hazard). Fuel mixture Gasoline 50:1 40:1 Theengineofthehedgetrimmerisahigh-efficiencytwo-stroke engine. It runs on a mixture of gasoline and two-stroke engine oil. The engine is designed for unleaded regular gasoline with a min. In case no such fuel is available, you can use fuel with a higher octane value. In addition, a long service life and reliable operation with a minimum emission of exhaust gases are ensured.
