Plug into the socket. The red lamp will light up Before you can start baking, you need to preheat the waffle appliance. With the waffle-maker closed, this will take about 3 to 5 minutes. The green light will turn off indicating that the waffle-maker has reached the correct temperature. When using the appliance for the first time there may be a slight smell and light smoke from the cooking plates. For hygienic reasons, do not the first wafers made, throw them away. Pour, when the green light goes out, the waffle batter into the middle of the lower plate. Use a wooden or heatproof plastic spatula to dough to distribute the batter evenly over the baking plates. The baking time is determined by the position of the dial used for selecting the degree of browning (light, medium, maximum). For golden waffles it’s best to turn the dial to “medium” (Middle position). Once the waffle is ready, remove it gently with a wooden or heatproof plastic spatula to loosen the sides. Never use metal objects, because they can damage specially coated non-stick surface. If you have finished baking, remove the plug from the socket. TIPS “Medium” (Middle position) is the default mode for golden waffles. If you prefer crispier, darker waffles, turn the dial (1) to the “Max” position (dark). For those who love lighter waffles, set the dial to the “Low” position (light). For evenly cooked waffles it’s best to gradually add about half a cup of dough per wafer. Baked waffles are best when they have just been cooked, but can also are be kept warm perfectly in an oven at about 90° C. place in a baking tray or wrap them in aluminium foil.
