Storage In addition to Dot Hill 3000 series, the AssuredUVS platform supports an extremely wide variety of storage vendors and models currently deployed in data centers world wide, including Apple, Dot Hill, EMC, Hitachi, HP, IBM, LSI/Engenio, NetApp, Nexsan, Promise, Sun, Xiotech, and Xyratex . For specific models, please request a copy of the Dot Hill AssuredUVS Interoperability Matrix from your Dot Hill representative for a full and up-to-date listing of qualified and supported storage. OEMs can qualify their own storage models if they are not already supported. Operating Environments AssuredUVS operates in Windows, Linux, Solaris, and Mac OS X environments. Networks AssuredUVS works in both Fibre Channel and iSCSI networking environments. Support and Professional Services Installation There is an AssuredUVS professional services Installation package which is available with AssuredUVS purchase. The installation engagement includes a one day session with a Dot Hill customer support engineer for the purposes of activating AssuredUVS systems, and provisioning the storage. Support Management AssuredUVS's graphical user interface and Command Line Interface also allow system administrators to manage all functions such as creating storage volumes, changing their sizes, migrating files, and establishing snapshot schedules from a common management interface so that the storage environment can be more easily managed.
