[. . . ] LBA2030 L BAND AMPLIFIER / LNB POWER INSERTER TM LBA2030 FEATURES The LBA2030 is an L band amplifier that is designed to amplify and level the L band range of 950 to 2250 MHz that is used in Direct Broadcast Satellite reception applications. The full coverage allows use with installations incorporating `stacked' type LNBs - one polarity output from 950 to 1450 MHz and the other polarity output over a higher 500 MHz segment such as 1550 to 2050 MHz. The LBA2030 has a built in LNB power inserter that will supply 18 VDC to the LNB input connector for powering the LNB. [. . . ] The LBA2030 requires an input level of approximately -50 dBm (each of 32 transponders) in order to AGC the outputs to the -20 dBm and -30 dBm levels. Input levels below -50 dBm will cause the output levels to drop by a corresponding amount. The -20 dBm output provides plenty of signal level for situations where this output will be split through several layers of passive splitters to feed multiple receivers. TM is a trademark of R. L.
