DIVATM - UV Digital Varnish and Variable Data Print Engine The Rotoworx® 330 can be configured with DIVA ­ a 13" (330 mm) wide piezoelectric inkjet based, fully digital varnishing module. This module is capable of producing different gloss levels with one single fluid in one single pass. The DIVATM print engine combined with a specially designed VDP controller converts the system into a VDP print engine, allowing pre-printed labels (shells) to be finalized very quickly with additional variable information. DIVATM Print Engine UV Coating Module DIVATM Digital Varnishing and Variable Data Print Engine Rotoworx DIVATM is a Digital print engine available as an integrated module for the Rotoworx 330 systems, which can be configured for digital Varnish applications, offering the unique ability to produce different gloss finish with one single fluid in one single pass ­ a first in the industry. DIVATM with its 13" (330 mm) wide print module is designed for spot varnishing applications on pre-printed materials. This completely digital printing process enables customers to produce special effects, such as textures and even tactile elements whereby the surface can be variable from label-to-label. DIVATM is the solution for this application in a short-run environment and is available as an original configuration module for the Rotoworx® 330 Finishing System in a standard speed version with one row of print heads and high speed version with two rows of print heads. This increases the cross process resolution to 720 dpi at higher linear speed. The versatility of the DIVATM system is further enhanced through the availability of a specially designed VDP controller thus converting the system into a Variable Data print engine.
