CHARTSPEED The rate echoes scroll across the screen is called the chart speed. It's adjustable by first pressing the menu key, then pressing the key adjacent to the"ADJUST CHARTSPEED" label. The chart speed menu appears at the bottom of the screen. Increase the chart E1 the right arspeedby pressing rowkey or decrease it by pressing the leftarrow key. [. . . ] The distancetoa fish whenthe conefirst strikes it is shown as "A" on thenext page. Whenthe centerof the conestrikes thefish, the distanceis shorter as shown"B". As the coneleaves thefish, thedistanceincreasesagain as shown in "C". Very small fish probablywill not arch at all. Mediumsized fish will showa partial arch, or a shapesimilarto an arch if they're in deep water. Large fish will arch, but turn the sensitivity up in deeperwater to see thearch. Because ofwaterconditions, such as heavysurfaceclutter, thermoclines, etc. , the sensitivity sometimes cannot be increased enough to get fish

NOTE: Turning the unit off erases all customized screens and user
settings!
RESElliNG ALL GROUPS
To return all of the groups to theirfactorysettings withoutturning the unit off and on again, presstheWINDOWS key, then press the MENU key, then press the keyadjacenttothe "MAIN MENU" label. Nowpressthekey adjacentto the "RE-PROGRAM A GROUP" label. Finally, pressthe key next to the "RESET ALL GROUPS" label. SIDE-SCANOPERATION Two differentsidescan displays are available whenthe Ultra II or Ultra II Plus is inthe Windows mode. To usethe side scanfeature, first install the ScanPactransduceron your trolling motor. Next, press the WINDOWS key on the Ultra II unit.
