Importing video files On your DVDs you can include video files stored on your computer's hard disk drive. You can also load MPEG files and DV-AVI files that were created by DVgate and MovieShaker (depending on the software bundled with your computer).

To import stored video files, proceed as follows: 1 2 3 Click Capture Video in the step guide. The selected video file is imported, and the imported file clip appears in the clip tray. Any unwanted clips can be deleted before the DVD is created.
You cannot write both MPEG1 files and other file formats to the same DVD. When loading MPEG files, select either MPEG1 files or files in a format other than MPEG1.
Editing videos The Clip Editing screen enables you to edit videos. You can divide videos into clips, delete unnecessary scenes, and change the order in which clips are played. To edit your video before creating the DVD, proceed as follows: 1 2

Move the slider that appears beneath the monitor to display the point in the clip where you want to divide the clip. To delete an unwanted portion of the clip, divide the clip, and then move the unwanted clip to the recycle bin.

Select the left clip of the pair to be combined, and then click Combine selected clip with next clip task. Alternatively, click the Combine button between the clips to be combined. The combined clips become an individual chapter on the DVD. You can change the sequence in which pictures are displayed during playback, rotate the images, change your content setup, or make slide show settings. To create an album, proceed as follows: 1 2 Clicking the Create Album button in the step guide. Choose your album settings as follows:
Change the order in which pictures are displayed when the DVD is played by dragging pictures to the appropriate position. Alternatively, click the Arrange button. The Arrange Pictures dialog box appears where you can order the images by date or file name. Rotate a picture by selecting the picture, and then clicking either Rotate Counter clockwise or Rotate Clockwise. When the confirmation dialog box appears, click OK. Enlarge a picture by selecting the picture, and clicking View. The Single Photo Display dialog box appears, and an enlarged view of the selected picture is displayed.
