If you prefer not to re-start your computer the Ethernet LAN port will not work until the PC is restarted. It is highly recommended you restart your computer at this stage. After your computer is restarted, connect the ENUET-USB USB cable to any available USB port on your computer. A pop-up message will appear in the notification area indicating the installation is completed. * Actual strings depend on your operation system. These screen shots are from Windows XP and may be different from your computer. Now, that the installation is completed. You can connect the ENUET-3USB adapter to a network device using a CAT-5 or CAT5e or better Ethernet cable, you can connect the ENUET-3USB without powering off your computer or laptop: 1. Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on the ENUET-3USB adapter's RJ-45 port. Connect the other end of the same Ethernet cable to your network hub, switch or router. The Link LED should light up green to indicate a proper physical connection between the adapter and the network.
