! [. . . ] (See Figure 1) Otherwise the pole may not be tall enough to allow goal to reach official 10 foot height. If line is too high, remove some gravel. If it is too low, put more gravel into hole. Be sure concrete settles completely around pole and that tube stays in center of hole. If you mix concrete too soupy you may have to brace pole until concrete has set. Slope concrete away from pole for drainage. Straighten pole with a level (check from all sides). (See Figure 1) Allow 72 hours for concrete to harden. Occasionally check pole for straitness, especially during the first two hours. Brace pole if necessary to keep it straight until concrete has set.

NOTE: It is important for the installer to understand the necessity of the nylon washers (#15) provided. These washers adequately space painted parts at all pivot points. Neglecting the use of these washers will result in rusted parts. NOTE: All board arms are made of rectangular tubing. Tightening hardware too tight may damage tubing and make adjustment of system difficult. Attach Pivot Ears (#8) to Pivot Channel (#6) using two bolts (#2), four washers (#3) and two nuts (#7). Repeat step for other Pivot Ear.

2. Attach Pivot Channel (#6) to Vertical Main Post (#1) using two "U" Bolts (#4), four washers (#3) and four locknuts (#7). Position top of Pivot Channel even with top of Vertical Main Post. Insert Tube Plug (#5) into top of Vertical Main Post (#1). It may be necessary to use a hammer or rubber mallet to tap in plug.

Slide Actuator Cover (#36) over Actuator (#13) and place Actuator Cap (#12) on top. Slide 6- 3/16" Spacer (#11) in hole near the top of Actuator until equal amounts stick out on both sides of Actuator. [. . . ] Attach Rim Cover Plate (#17) using four screws (#38). Check all nuts and bolts everything is tightened properly. Do NOT over tighten pivot points, snug is tight enough.
19. Slide Crank Handle (#22) onto Actuator Crank (#21) and secure by tapping pal nut (#23) on end of Actuator Crank. [. . . ]
