If the power unit, the cable or the plug are damaged, only contact an authorised Technical Help Centre so that they can replace it. Before plugging the appliance in, put the thermostat in the "0" position. Only use wooden or heatproof plastic utensils Do not cut food on top of the grill plate. do not use sharp objects to handle the food. The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system. Only use the appliance with the mains connection assembly provided. Do not use any other type of mains connection. Before using the barbecue for the first time, clean the grill plate (1) and the drip tray (3) with warm water, liquid soap and a soft sponge. After cleaning, the grill plate (1) must be dried. Special care must be taken to dry the inside of the plug socket (2) thoroughly.
