Before assembly, take the different parts of the fan out of their packaging and check that the power cable is whole and that the appliance has not been damaged during transport. Loose the nuts (8 and 10), one of which is threaded on to the motor shaft (anticlockwise) and the other on to the engine frame (clockwise) respectively. Assemble the grille for the rear grille (7) on the motor frame (2) and fix it with the grille nut (8) guiding it into the positioning plugs (6). Check that the blades do not touch anything when you turn them by hand. The blades must turn freely, if not repeat from step 2. Assemble the front grille (11) and press gently until it fits into the plastic ring. Close the safety clip by tightening the nut. Using the wall support as a guide, make marks for the drill holes. Then insert the studs and adjust the support firmly with the screws. If you want the fan to operate for a determined time, turn the timer (4) clockwise positioning it on the time of your choice. The maximum time which you can select with the timer is 3 hours ("180"). for continuous operation turn the timer (4) to the "CONT" position. To disconnect the fan from the power, turn the timer (4) to the "0" position. Before cleaning, turn the selector (3) to the "0" position and unplug the appliance. [. . . ] It must be taken to a special local authority differentiated waste collection centre or to a dealer providing this service. Disposing of a household appliance separately avoids possible negative consequences for the environment and health deriving from inappropriate disposal and enables the constituent materials to be recovered to obtain significant savings in energy and resources.
