A. . If the NHTSA receives complaints of this type, it may open an investigation. If it finds that a safety defect exists in a group of vehicles, it may order a recall and remedy campaign. [. . . ] If the engine doesn't start, put the key in position "0" before repeating the procedure. Do not press the accelerator pedal completely unless oil temperature reaches at least 65° ÷ 70°C (149° ÷ 158°F). With engine running and the car at a standstill (and transmission lever in position "P" or "N") avoid taking the engine to too high speeds, in order not to damage the transmission.

Con il pedale del freno premuto e con il motore al minimo, portare quindi la leva selettrice del cambio nella posizione desiderata. Per rimuovere la leva dalla posizione "P" occorre premere il pulsanATTENZIONE te sull'impugnatura della leva e pigiare sul pedale del freno. Il passaggio dalla posizione "N" alla posizione "D" a regimi elevati può provocare seri danni al cambio.
Keeping the brake pedal depressed and engine at idling speed, put the transmission lever in the wished position. To remove the lever from position "P", press the push button WARNING!on the lever knob and the brake pedal as well. The passage from position "N" to position "D", at high speeds, can damage the transmission irreparably.
Avec la pédale de frein appuyée et le moteur au ralenti, placer le levier de sélection des vitesses dans la position voulue. Pour déplacer le levier de la position "P", il faut presser le bouton ATTENTION placé sur la poignée du levier et appuyer sur la pédale de frein. Le passage de la position "N" à la position "D", à des régimes élevés, peut entraîner de graves dommages à la boîte de vitesses.

Um den Hebel aus der Position "P" zu schieben, muß man den Knopf ACHTUNG auf den Hebelgriff drükken und das Bremspedal niedertreten. Bei hohen Drehzahlen kann der Übergang aus der Position "N" in die Position "D" zu schweren Schäden am Getriebe führen.
Avviamento a caldo Ripetere le stesse operazioni eseguite per l'avviamento a freddo. Se dopo alcuni tentativi, il motore non dovesse avviarsi ricercare una delle seguenti possibili cause: Insufficiente velocità del motorino di avviamento (batteria scarica, olio troppo viscoso o troppo freddo). Dispositivo di accensione difettoso (candele umide, bobine inefficienti). Circuiti elettrici non ben isolati. Fusibili pompe benzina bruciati.
Hot starting Repeat the same procedures followed for cold starting. If, after some attempts, the engine fails to start, search for one of the following causes: starter insufficient speed (down battery, too viscous or too cold oil). Faulty starter (wet plugs, inefficient coils). Incorrectly insulated electric circuits. Burnt fuel pump fuses.
