[. . . ] When the battery power is low, this LED will remain lit, indicating that you should replace the battery. To avoid battery drain, be sure to unplug the cable from the AMP jack when it is not in use. PHASE Adjust the volume control of the PRO-EQ and your amplifier to the desired level. Using your ears as a guide, set the PHASE switch for proper relationship with the sound source (amps, monitors, etc. ). The correct phase setting will provide a tighter response with less tendency to feed back. This relationship is most audible at louder volumes and will change from room to room and with your position on stage. EQUALIZATION The PRO-EQ features fully active BASS, MIDDLE, TREBLE and BRILLIANCE controls; allowing boost and cut. The BASS and TREBLE sliders are shelving style controls and the MIDDLE and BRILLIANCE controls are resonant style. 2 ACOUSTIC INSTRUMENT PREAMP/EQUALIZER SUB-BASS CONTROL On the back of the unit there is a recessed SUB-BASS control which is set flat at the factory. This feature can be used to emphasize the amount of "bottom end" on small-bodied guitars by turning it clockwise. USER OPTIONS For live performance, the enclosed belt clip may be attached to the back of the unit with the two screws provided. The belt clip should not cover the SUB-BASS control.
