Your BIOS is set at the factory for normal operating conditions, therefore there should be no need to set or change the BIOS environment to operate your tablet. The BIOS Setup Utility configures: Navigating through the Setup Utility The BIOS setup utility consists of six menus: Main, Advanced, Security, Boot, Info and Exit. This document explains each menu in turn including all submenus and setup items. [. . . ] Enables or disables SpeedStep(R) Technology which allows the user to determine the CPU performance when the tablet is running on AC or battery. This technology decreases power consumption by decreasing CPU speeds. Allows the user to select the CPU performance when the system is running on battery power.
