E-14 USING THE REMOTE CONTROL PRECAUTIONS To prevent malfunction, be sure not to apply any form of severe shock to the remote control. To prevent malfunction or deformation, be sure not to allow the remote control to become wet; also, keep it away from hot locations or heating equipment. Be sure not to clean the remote control using a cloth dampened in any volatile solvent, such as benzene or thinner. EFFECTIVE RANGE FOR THE REMOTE CONTROL Point the remote control at the display's signal receiver when using it. Make sure that there are no obstacles between the remote control and the display's signal receiver.
