(See diagram) For example, if you want to activate this function in hotplate 1, number 2 (situated behind it) should be switched off, and vice versa. If the zone referred to is not switched off, the letter x will appear alternately on the indicator for that hotplate, as well as the power level that has been selected. The Powerboost function will have deactivated and it will return to power level previously selected.

How to activate it
The hotplate must be connected.
1. Select the hotplate desired using the control knob. Select the heat level with the control knob. Press the sensor , and the letter x will appear on the display.

Timer function

Setting procedure
Enter a specific duration for the desired hotplate. When the duration has elapsed, the hotplate switches off automatically. Use the twist knob to select the hotplate.

2. Use the twist knob to set the required duration. The duration flashes for several seconds and then begins to count down. If you have set a duration for several hotplates, it is always the shortest duration that is displayed.
When the duration has elapsed
When the duration has elapsed, the hotplate switches off. 0 lights up in the heat setting indicator. The displays will go out and the audible signal will stop. Use the twist knob to select the hotplate. Touch the T symbol and change the duration using the twist knob. Select the hotplate using the twist knob, touch the T symbol and set to 00. The indicator goes out after a few seconds. If you would like to call up the remaining duration for a hotplate: Use the twist knob to select the hotplate. [. . . ] The fan may also run on once the hob has been switched off if the temperature it detects is still too high. The noises described are normal and part of the induction technology and do not indicate a fault.
