Powerboost function
This function allows your food to be heated even quicker than with the highest power setting on your appliance (9). The powerboost function temporarily increases the power of the highest setting.
Restrictions when using the powerboost function
Group 2
All the cooking zones have this function, except the roasting zone when its expandable part is activated. (See figure, zone 5)

The powerboost function can only be used if the other hotplate in the same group is not in use (see illustration). Example: if you wish to use the function on hotplate 1, hotplate 2 (behind hotplate 1) must be switched off and vice versa. If the hotplate is not switched off, letter Í and previously selected power level alternate in the display; then the previously selected level is switched back on. The same applies to hotplates 3 and 4.

Timer function

This function can be used in two different ways: - to switch a hotplate off automatically - as a cooking timer
Setting a hotplate to switch off automatically
Setting procedure
Enter a specific duration for the desired hotplate. When the duration has elapsed, the hotplate switches off automatically. Use the twist knob to select the hotplate.

2. Use the twist knob to set the required duration. [. . . ] Wait a few minutes for it to cool down and switch it back on again. Disconnect the cooking hob from the mains. Check the connection and connect it again correctly. If the indication continues, notify the technical assistance service.
