Connecting the appliance to the mains
The socket must be freely accessible and must not be behind the appliance. Route the power cord in such a way that it cannot be run over or trapped when the appliance is moved into the niche. Socket on the right-hand side when viewed from the rear side of the appliance: Remove the cover plate. Pull the power cord over to the right-hand side. Following installation, there must be a minimum waiting period of ½ hour before the master switch is switched on. The oil contained in the compressor may have been displaced into the refrigeration system during transport.

Aligning the appliance
4. Using a spirit level, align the appliance vertically and horizontally.
For alignment, the appliance must be standing on a flat surface. Position the appliance in the intended installation area. Loosen the lock nut on the four adjustment spindles of the appliance feet.

Warning!The appliance could tip over if any one of the appliance feet is turned in or out too far. Screw the appliance feet in or out little by little one after the other. All castors must be standing firmly on the floor. The castor of the anti-tip stabiliser must also be firmly on the floor. To adjust the height of the appliance: Turn the hexagon on the adjustment spindles until the desired height is reached. Always readjust the anti-tip stabiliser at the same time.

Fitting the appliance into the kitchen counter
6. Screw all hinges onto the adjacent units.
The appliance must be aligned with the kitchen counter before installation. Once the appliance is inside the installation niche, the appliance feet can no longer be adjusted. Slide the appliance carefully into the installation niche. Avoid running over, kinking or damaging cables. Align the appliance with the existing kitchen units. Take into consideration the thickness of the kitchen unit doors to be fitted. [. . . ] The total number of spacer washers must remain the same: Door of the right climate zone: 6 spacer washers Doors of the left climate zones: 4 spacer washers

4. Pull the glass door out between the angle brackets and set it down carefully on a soft surface. At the top and bottom, unscrew the angle brackets for horizontal adjustment.
