How to make a good Espresso coffee: Coffee dose programming With this Gaggia appliance two different water doses can be programmed to obtain one or two cups of coffee. To adjust the water doses and store them for a following dispensing request, first of all carry out the "COFFE PREPARATION" procedure on page 11- sections 2-3-4, and then proceed as follows: 1 Press the programming button (6) for 3 sec. at the same time the symbols of buttons 2 - 3 will switch on. 2 After introducing the one-cup filter, press key (2) and let the coffee flow down. 3 Press the same key (2) again until the desired optimum dose for one coffee is reached. 4 Now the water dose assigned for one coffee to key (2) will be stored and the light placed below the key will turn off. 5 Repeat steps 3 and 4 to program the water dose for key (3).
