Local Muting Figure 3 illustrates local speaker muting when stations are completely assembled and paging operation occurs. Normally, when the station button is pressed, the paging speaker connected to that station is silenced (muted) to prevent acoustic feedback to the handset microphone. Connect terminal TB1-7 of the handset station to TB1-7 of the station within the zone that is causing feedback.
