You must have a compatible Garmin device in order to program the chirp. From the geocaching settings on your Garmin device, enable chirpTM Searching. From your Garmin device, select Program chirpTM. Select an option: · Select Show chirpTM Details to view and edit chirp information. · Select Send Waypoint to select a saved waypoint from your compatible device. · Select Send Geocache to select a saved geocache from your compatible device. · Select Erase to erase chirp data. attaching the chirp to a Container Use the adhesive mount when attaching the chirp to a container. Attach one side of the adhesive mount to the center of the battery door. Attach the other side of the adhesive mount to the top of the container. Tips · · · · Do not mount the chirp inside a metal container. A compatible Garmin device should detect the chirp within (32. 9 ft) 10 m. For maximum transmission range, allow the chirp to have an unobstructed view in all directions. Finding a chirp Data Transfer When your device detects a chirp, the chirp transfers data to your device. When the data transfer is complete, you can select Show chirpTM Details to view this information. FCC Compliance This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules.
