Press the FMS Knob to remove the flashing cursor. Select the User Waypoint Information Page and press MENU to display the User Waypoint Information Page Options or press the DELETE Softkey. Turn the large FMS Knob to select `Delete User Waypoint' and press the ENT Key. The message `Would you like to delete the user waypoint' is displayed. The map pointer is displayed at the present aircraft position. Move the Joystick to place the pointer at the desired position Press the ENT Key. The User Waypoint Information Page is now displayed with the captured position. Turn the FMS Knobs to select a waypoint name. Press the ENT Key to accept the selected name. The first reference waypoint field is highlighted. If desired, turn the FMS Knobs to enter the identifier of the reference waypoint and the radial and distance to the reference waypoint.
